Final Exam

How is the Google Living Stories approach different than other news sources?

*They unify coverage on a single page with a consistent URL. They organize information by developments in the story and they also call your attention to changes in the story since you last viewed it so you can easily find the new material. A summary of the whole story and regular updates offer a different online approach to balancing the overview with depth and context.

Do you think this approach to stories will help to reduce bias in the news? Why or Why Not?

*Yes it will reduce bias, because everyone will be able to put there imput and it will be updated. It balances the overview of the article. They seem to also be willing to share anything anyone has to say on the subject, therefore you will see both sides.

What features would you like to see added to Google's project?

*I hope to see more articles and different subjects. Enough articles for everyones liking. Also maybe they will have similiar articles bnear that source. Or other sources and imput on that article. I hope to see the "living stories" for google to work out for online articles.

Jing

On Jing you can take a video of yourself doing anything of your computer, such as a demonstration of a program or something else. You can also use it to take a snap shot of a specific situation that you may want to highlight. Jing is so versatile and creative. It can be use at home to capture photos and then post them to the internet. If one thing could be changed or added one thing to Jing it would be a way so you could run it easier!
